What does Locus cost right now?
Nothing. While Locus is in closed testing, every tester uses the full product free.
Do I need a credit card?
No. Joining the waitlist and testing Locus takes an email address. There is no billing to set up, because there is nothing to bill.
What will it cost at launch?
Not decided, so not announced. The commitment is the one above: fair pricing, published plainly, testers told first.
What happens to my library when pricing arrives?
It stays yours. The library you build during testing is not held hostage by a plan change.
Why is testing free?
Because testing is a trade. You get the product early and steer what gets built; we get the kind of feedback that only comes from someone living in their real library.
